| Hunted ... Jean-Claude Mas |
THE man being hunted in the faulty breast implants scandal is a former butcher wanted for drink-driving.
Jean-Claude Mas, 72, founded Poly Implant Prothese which sold implants full of industrial silicone to women worldwide, including 40,000 in the UK.
Interpol are hunting him and cops in Costa Rica said he faces up to three years' jail for a "very serious" 2010 driving offence.
Paris plastic surgeon Patrick Baraf revealed Mas had been a butcher before setting up his French lab in 1991.
PIP became the world's third biggest implant firm, saving £1million a year by not using medical silicone.
In Britain 250 women are suing clinics.
