LADY GaGa strips off in a vile bathroom and nakedly stuffs her face with Cheerios in her most shocking video to date.
The pop eccentric pushes the boundaries in the 14-minute promo to new single Marry The Night, which was directed by GaGa herself.
It's apparently inspired by the low she hit when she was ditched by her former record label Def Jam in 2006. More photo after the cut
Explaining the premise, GaGa said: "It was one of the worst days of my life and it happened quite quickly, but in my mind, when I think back on that period of my life, it all happened very slow.
"My directorial decision was for them to just f****** roll the cameras, because I couldn't go in and out of the moment."

The clip starts with the singer being carted through a clinic before she lies stationary on a hospital bed following a mystery procedure.

Her eyes wet with tears, she tells a nurse: "I'm gonna be a star. You know why? Because I have nothing left to lose."
Fast forward a few disturbing minutes and GaGa's back in her grubby apartment, lying topless as she speaks on the phone.

Then she begins to destroy her flat before the opening of Marry The Night finally kicks in.
Other acts of mental breakdown see her writhing around on a car and perching her bare derriere on the side of a bathtub.

Her soaking body shimmers in the dim light as she throws shapes in the buff, all the while wearing heels.
Eventually she breaks down following a harrowing display of fighting, setting cars on fire, dancing and more nudity.

Most baffling of all is the scene where GaGa is waving her hands in the air with a sanitary pad taped to her breasts.
As the video wraps up, a fortune-changing message written on her hand comes into shot, reading: "Interscope Records; Hollywood, CA; 4 p.m."
Interscope is the label that rescued her from obscurity in 2007 and paved the way for her subsequent globe-conquering career.
